We have tried to answer the most common questions.
Are these insoles meant to replace the ones already in the shoes?
They can serve both purposes. They can either replace the existing insoles or be placed on top of them, depending on how tightly the shoe fits, giving your shoes a second life.
What if the shoes are too loose due to the wrong size? Can these insoles be added on top of the original ones to improve the fit?
Yes, that's a perfect solution. Adding these insoles on top of the originals can help achieve a better fit in shoes that are slightly too large.
What are the benefits of using insoles?
Insoles provide added comfort, support, and shock absorption. They help reduce foot fatigue, improve posture, and alleviate common foot issues such as plantar fasciitis, flat feet, or heel pain.
How do I choose the right size of insole?
Most insoles come in various sizes or can be trimmed to fit your shoe. It’s recommended to check the size guide and, if needed, trim the insoles to match the exact shape of your footwear.
How often should I replace my insoles?
This depends on the level of use. For everyday wear, it’s generally recommended to replace insoles every 2 to 3 months, or sooner if you notice signs of wear and tear, like reduced cushioning or support.
Can I transfer these insoles from one pair of shoes to another?
Yes, many insoles are removable and can be easily transferred between different pairs of shoes. Although feasible it’s not recommended as there are various shapes of footwear and insoles get adapted.
Are these insoles suitable for all types of shoes?
These insoles are designed to fit all types of footwear, sneakers, dress shoes, boots, … and even high heels. However, it’s important to ensure the shoes have enough space to accommodate the insoles comfortably.
Can insoles be used during sports or high-impact activities?
Yes, most of the Tacco insoles are suitable. There are also specifically designed types for sports or high-impact activities like running, hiking, or cycling. They provide extra shock absorption and stability to reduce strain on the feet and joints.
How do I clean and maintain my insoles?
Most insoles can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Some can even be machine, or hand washed but avoid soaking them in water (except gel pads).
Are there insoles for specific foot types, such as flat feet or high arches?
Yes, there are insoles designed specifically for different foot types. Whether you have flat feet, high arches, or suffer from overprounation, there’s likely an insole designed to meet your needs.
Will using insoles affect the fit of my shoes?
Insoles can affect the fit of your shoes slightly, but they are generally designed to enhance comfort without making the shoes too tight. It’s important to check how much space your shoes allow for added insoles.
